Welcome to Custom Auto Exotics. By booking an appointment, accepting a quote, or dropping off a vehicle for service, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking, Deposits, and Cancellations

• Deposits: We require a 50% deposit on all services to secure your booking slot.
• Cancellations: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Failure to notify us within this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

2. Vehicle Condition and Preparation

• Cleanliness: Vehicles brought in for exterior styling services must be thoroughly washed and free of heavy mud or grease. Additional prep fees apply if excessive cleaning is required.
• Existing Damage: A pre-service inspection will be performed. Custom Auto Exotics is not responsible for pre-existing paint chips, scratches, cracked glass, structural defects, or clear coat failure.
• Aftermarket Paint: We cannot guarantee film or vinyl adhesion on repainted or touched-up panels. The customer assumes all risks regarding clear coat peeling on non-factory paint during installation or removal.

3. Service-Specific Disclaimers

• Window Tinting: Small bubbles or a hazy appearance may occur immediately after installation. This is a normal part of the moisture evaporation curing process and can take up to 3–4 weeks to fully disappear. Do not roll down windows for 3–5 days post-installation.
• PPF & Vinyl Wraps: Minor relief cuts, seams, or minimal stretching marks are sometimes necessary depending on the complex curvature of the vehicle's panels.
• Wheel Powder Coating: Custom Auto Exotics is not liable for structural wheel defects or hidden corrosion exposed during the sandblasting or baking process.

4. Payment and Vehicle Pick-up

• Payment Due: Full payment of the remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of services and prior to the release of the vehicle. We accept payments via Square.
• Storage Fees: Vehicles not picked up within 48 hours of completion notice will be subject to a storage fee of $50 per day unless prior arrangements are made.

5. Warranties and Liability Limitation

• Material Warranties: Product warranties (e.g., film peeling, yellowing, or coating degradation) are provided directly by the respective material manufacturers.
• Shop Labor Warranties: Custom Auto Exotics provides a dedicated labor warranty covering installation errors based on the service category:
  • 1 Year: Paint Protection Film (PPF), Vinyl Wraps, and Ceramic Coatings.
  • 30 Days: Window Tints and Wheel Powder Coating.
  • 7 Days: Automotive Detailing services.
• What Will Void Your Installation Warranty: To ensure your shop warranties remain valid, be aware of these common restrictions across all applicable services:
  • Improper Maintenance: Using harsh chemicals, automatic car brushes, or high-pressure washers closer than 12 inches to film, wrap, or tinted edges.
  • Accidents & Impact: Scratches, tears, chips, or rips caused by road debris (rocks, etc.) or collisions. Protective films and coatings are sacrificial layers designed to safeguard the underlying surface; the film/coating itself is not warrantied against environmental impact damage.
  • DIY Removal/Alteration: Trying to fix, cut, or pull up the edges of films, tints, and wraps yourself, or polishing over coatings improperly.
  • Unregistered Warranty: Failing to officially register the product warranty with the manufacturer or shop within the designated time frame after the initial installation.
• Limitation of Liability: Custom Auto Exotics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or removal of aftermarket films, tints, coatings, or modified wheels.
